Paper Trade Links Pvt Ltd is a fourth-generation, 80 year old strong paper distributorship. As one of the largest paper merchants in India, our products include all grades of Writing Printing, Coated, Packaging and Industrial papers. Our clientele includes leading offset printers, converters, institutions and industrial consumers.

Initially, business was conducted at a very small scale, with most processes traditionally run: we remember our accountants doing manual double-entry book keeping in bahee-khatas. Today PTL is a market leader, importing paper from more than 20 mills across the globe and servicing clients all over the country, equipped with the latest tools and technologies such as SAP and Salesforce, and a state-of-the-art testing lab over its 4 units in Indore, Bhopal and Gwalior.

Business is not solely about achieving sales targets, but about building relationships. Trust is the most crucial factor in any transaction. PTL's goal is to provide the best possible solutions to meet customers' requirements, even if it means they end up purchasing from a competitor.

We have over the years assemble a team of capable individuals and inculcated a strong company culture, and our core beliefs as a team are reflected well in our company values. We treat each other and our associates as second family and work with passion and diligence.

Paper is so ubiquitous that it is present in each and every aspect of a person’s existence. We believe that a blank sheet of paper equals endless possibilities - to create, imagine, and bring ideas to life. Humans have used it for centuries as a form of expression, to keep track of important records, documents and even creating art. This continues to be the case despite digitization - a majority of Indians still consume paper in some shape or form.

Contrary to common misconceptions, the paper industry is highly eco-friendly, with more trees being planted than harvested. Additionally, paper serves as an essential substitute for non-recyclable materials such as metal and plastic. Recent government regulations, such as the single-use plastic ban in July 2022, have further supported this claim and new eco-friendly paper substitutes for cups, bags, straws, sticks, and earbuds, have emerged. The COVID-19 pandemic and the growth of e-commerce have also contributed to an increased demand for packaging and hygiene applications.

With the paper industry evolving at a rate of 8-12% per annum, PTL has aligned itself to spearhead this growth and expand its operations. With the fourth generation already in the business, we are poised to integrate over our value chain and expand to the global market over the next few years.
